An important decision that could be made because everyone was on the same page and able to coordinate effectively. A colleague who asked exactly the right question. And the feeling of not just having been there, but of having really made a contribution.<br\/>We all want more of these moments. More meaning, more connection and, above all, more (self-)efficacy. And that\u2019s possible!<\/p>\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading pb__8\"><strong>Humankapital oder \u201cWas Arbeit kostet, wenn sie nicht menschlich ist\u201d<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n<p class=\"pb__8\">Quiet quitting is not a phenomenon unique to Generation Z. It is the result of years in which people were not listened to. Years in which information only flowed down from the top, and a sense of belonging depended on whether you were sitting in the right office \u2013 or whether you had one at all.<br\/>Gallup puts the figure at <strong>the cost of low staff retention in Germany amounts to over 130 billion euros a year<\/strong>. And nevertheless treat many companies internal communication as an administrative task. Newsletters that nobody reads. Intranets that nobody opens. Announcements that arrive at the office &#8211; and during the shift don\u2019t.<br\/>The price we pay for this is not just staff turnover. It is the slow erosion of something that is difficult to measure, but which is immediately noticeable when it is missing: the feeling that one\u2019s own work is part of something bigger.<\/p>\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading pb__8\"><strong><strong>Clarity is essential<\/strong><\/strong><\/h2>\n\n<p class=\"pb__8\">When staff know what really matters to the company and to their own work, things change. Decisions are made more quickly, and mistakes happen less often. And the energy that would otherwise be spent searching, asking questions and double-checking suddenly ends up where it belongs: in the actual work.<br\/>Those who know where to find information, who to speak to and what is currently happening \u2013 within the company, in the department, in the team \u2013 can act proactively rather than merely reacting. And that makes a crucial difference on so many levels.<\/p>\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading pb__8\"><strong><strong><strong>A sense of belonging is not a soft skill, but an economic factor.<\/strong><\/strong><\/strong><\/h2>\n\n<p class=\"pb__8\">People who feel connected to their company are more productive, more creative and far less likely to look for a new job. Research has known this for decades. And yet many companies treat connection as a by-product \u2013 something that happens if you simply organise team breakfasts often enough.<br\/>A bond is formed but from many shared everyday moments. From that knowing what the colleague in the other department is currently working on. From the opportunity to express an opinion and to experience, that they are really being heard are being listened to.<br\/>But this doesn\u2019t just happen automatically: it requires places where it can happen. Channels that don\u2019t just broadcast from the top down, and structures that not only promise participation but also make it possible.<\/p>\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading pb__8\"><strong><strong><strong><strong>What decision-makers really leave behind<\/strong><\/strong><\/strong><\/strong><\/h2>\n\n<p class=\"pb__8\">Most managers want to run a good company. One that attracts people, stays for a long time and in which work has meaning gives meaning. <br\/>For when staff do their work truly with pleasure and do it well ,<br\/>it fosters that feeling, the one people describe, when they say: \u201cThat\u2019s where I like to go in the morning.\u201d Or: \u201cThat\u2019s where I know I always know what \u2019s going on is.\u201d Or simply: \u201cSince I am not indifferent.\u201d<br\/><br\/>It is not a question of budget, but a question of decision-making \u2013 and also of the tools that bring that decision to life in everyday working life.<br\/>Staffice is one such tool.
